Sunday School at Bethel AG

There’s something for the whole family at Bethel AG!

During our 11AM service, children ages 4–11 are invited to join our Sunday School —a fun, safe, and faith-filled environment just for them.

Kids are dismissed partway through the main service to head downstairs, where they’ll experience age-appropriate Bible lessons, games, and worship led by our amazing team.

Ambassadors for Jesus - Kids Praise & Worship Team Registration Form & Waiver

Students MUST be in grades 2 through 8 to be eligible for participation in this 12-week program.  Younger students may be invited to rehearse for the Bethel Christmas presentation closer to that date, stay tuned for more info!
Ambassadors for Jesus is a Kids Praise & Worship ministry that allows expression of talents through Musical and Fine Arts.  At times throughout the year, participants may be invited to perform at various events in the local community and/or Sunday services held at the Bethel Assembly of God Church, in Franklin Square, NY.  The following registration and waiver form is for the twelve sessions of the Fall 2026 season.  Meetings are generally held in the church's main sanctuary, on Friday nights, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. on the dates listed here, unless otherwise stated:  9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11 & 12/18.  

Please note:  THIS IS NOT A DROP-OFF PROGRAM for students in grades 2 through 6.  There will be an area designated for parents/guardians to observe our meetings, toward the overflow area of our church sanctuary.   
Parents/Guardians are asked to remain on the church premises for the duration of each session, unless their child is staying for the Bethel Youth Group meeting directly following, open to students ages 12 and up.  If students will be staying for Youth Group meetings, their parent/guardian must let the Kids Praise & Worship Team leadership know this beforehand.  Your child's safety comes first and we want to make sure each one is accounted for, under appropriate adult supervision.

Dress Code

Please read: 
Loose-fitting, comfortably casual clothing is best for our sessions.  Non-slip footwear (including gripper socks) or rubber-soled sneakers are ideal for preventing slip and fall accidents.  Some of our physical movements may involve floor exercises, as well as moderate bending, squatting, jumping, etc.  Participants should avoid wearing dangling jewelry (including bulky necklaces and large earrings) to our sessions.  Out of respect for our co-ed rehearsals taking place in a church sanctuary, modestly appropriate attire is required (nothing revealing bare midriffs and upper thigh areas).  We want to keep the central focus of these meetings on developing our gifts and talents to glorify Jesus!

The Bethel Assembly of God Kids Praise & Worship team is designed to allow students the opportunity to share their gifts in a way that is God-honoring, for the ultimate purpose of knowing Jesus Christ personally, and sharing His love with others.  Participants are expected to follow rules of safety, modesty in apparel, and respect for the social and physical health of themselves and others within the group, as set forth by the church's leadership.  Repeated failure to comply with the behavioral expectations outlined here may result in removal from this program.

I give CONSENT for my child to take part in video/photography associated with participation in this program.  I agree that I shall have no claim against the Bethel Assembly of God Church as a result of the posting of these pictures on the church's website or social medial platforms.

MODE OF COMMUNICATION

Email is primarily the mode of communication that will be used for meeting announcements, sharing of media, music, cancellations, updates, etc.  It is important that we have an accurate email address on file for communication purposes.  If you know that your child will not be able to attend a session due to other engagements, illness, etc., please let us know.  Notification of unplanned absences can be sent to:  Kidschapelbethel@gmail.com

MONETARY DONATIONS

This program is being offered at no cost to our participants, made possible due to the generosity of our local community of Faith.  If you or someone you know wishes to make a donation to offset the cost for materials, refreshments, etc., contributions of any size are welcomed at the Bethel Assembly of God Church.  Please designate your gift envelope as "Ambassadors for Jesus / Kids Praise & Worship Team".  Thank you in advance for any financial support; and especially, for your prayers!
Weekly Refreshments & Social Opportunities:  
Each week, doors will be opened thirty minutes prior to our meetings' start, to allow students optional time to get to know each other; and, light refreshments will also be made available for up to thirty minutes following our meetings, for those who have time to stay a bit longer.  If you would like to be part of a rotation of parents who bring in materials / light refreshments for the group to enjoy, please feel free to email us at:  Kidschapelbethel@gmail.com, under the subject:  "Weekly Rotation".  Thank you in advance for your contribution!

WAIVER & PERMISSION STATEMENT

I CONSENT to my child's participation in the Ambassadors for Jesus Kids Praise & Worship Team, held at the Bethel Assembly of God Church.  I understand that the doors generally open at 5 p.m., session is from 5:30 - 6:30, and program ends no later than 7:00 p.m.

I CONSENT to my child participating in food & beverage refreshments, with respect to any allergies he/she may have, as indicated above.  (If you do not consent, feel free to send in your own allergen-free refreshments for your child to enjoy in place of what is provided.)

I AUTHORIZE the Kids Praise & Worship Team leaders to seek emergency medical treatment for my child if necessary; but DO generally plan to remain on the church premises for the duration of the rehearsal sessions, in case of emergency or the need for medical attention.

The following individual(s) is /are the ONLY other person(s) authorized to pick up my child for dismissal, in my absence (PLEASE LIST ANYONE YOUR CHILD MAY BE RELEASED TO HERE):
